Archery center breaks ground near Lakeland.

Gov. DeSantis broke ground Sept. 14, 2026 on the Florida Archery Center at Tenoroc in Polk County. Budget-backed FWC expansion for competitive and para-archery. Easton and state funding planned around $16 million. The same visit highlighted an outdoor / Second Amendment sales-tax holiday through Dec. 31.
